School

Ah... Great great... er... not so great school. I don't like the place, yet don't hate it either. It's a fun place for me. I love to learn and stuff but I'm not a big fan of doing work outside of school because school is where you learn, and you do homely things at home. But I don't exactly mind doing them...

Since I got nothing interesting or important else to say in this one

LOL Cats....

I dislike Lol Cats in general. Sure they're funny and I laugh but to think what the people have to do sometimes to get their cats to do the poses for the pictures is ridiculous... And where did the idea come from? It makes absoleutly no sense to me.

Video Game Playthroughs/Walkthroughs/Let's Play Shenanigans

So um... I watch a lot of these and i do a few of these myself (not that i'm any good) but uh... yeah here are some of the people i watch and who i watch; SSoHPKC, penguinz0, and other people like that. Uh I also do some of these, and I think i do an ok job. Not the greatest, not the worst. Somewhere inbetween. Oh well. Anyhow here's one of my videos. Enjoy I think... (P.S. this video was the first one i did ever)

And on that Bombshell, Good night.

Epic Rap Battles of History

Alright so those Up there (That way ^) are the latest and my personal favorite Epic Rap Battles of History. Which is made by nicepeter, a cool guy who plays music for a living. I find these entertaining and hilarious. It's pretty awesome... hehe....

Till next time

Minecraft

Alright so I thought I'd do a nerdy thing and explain Minecraft, or basically a very very very big sandbox game. There are all sorts of mods and texture packs and other stuff like that. The video I'm showing here is called Yogscast. It's about two guys (Lewis and Simon) playing Minecraft and doing Minecrafty things and they run into some er... difficulties. Any how if I get a video up I'll explain in that video. If not then I'll explain here too, so you start off in a randomly generated place in the world, with nothing. You have nothing at all and i'm very redundant. but anyhow you can build a house and go digging and go into dungeons! anyhow that's all for me.

See you 'round

Theft Shenanigans

Ok I'm not counting this as a post but this is something that bugs me slightly.

Someone stole my iPod. why? I dunno. It's not in my bag (unless it's a magical iPod that can dissapear (which it isn't)) or at my house, and i still have my earbuds that went with it... anyhow it just annoys me why someone would steal something like that. It doesn't make you look cooler, it just means you have something that you didn't used to have and you didn't pay for it. Ungreatful munchkins.... anyhow. my rant is over. and please return stuff you steal or borrow, everyone likes you more that way.

Multi-Talented Musician: Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars - 2011 TIME Top 100

Bwuno Maws....er Bruno Mars. My bad (long story). anyhow, onward and upward. He was a pick for Time's 2011 Top 100 Most Influential People, which you can read here. He's a singer-songwriter, and he plays everything live.

Mars was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and he always had music with him. Since he lived in such a diverse community, he learned a lot of different music styles, from the reggae and rock on the streets to the '50s classics his dad listened too in his house. His dad was a Latin percussionist who made a Vegas style venue that included all of his family. This included his mother, who was a talented singer, and Mars, who got one chance being on stage in his childhood, sung an Elvis Presley song.

After he graduated high school in Hawaii, He moved to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a performer. Those dreams were put on hold however, when The Smeezingtons, the songwriting/production team he founded with Phillip Lawrence and Ari Levine, took off. The pair have written major hits in a variety of areas, like Flo Rida's "Right Round", Travie McCoy's "Billionare", K'Naan's "Waving Flags" (Which was used as a theme for the 2010 World Cup), and Brandy's "Long Distance".

After recording "Nothin' on You" and "Billionare" with them as a preview of what Mars has in store, he's released a 4-song EP with Elektrica called "It's Better If You Don't Understand", A lyric to "The Other Side" A song that teams Mars up with B.o.B. an Cee-Lo Green. He explained that The EP is a various collection of real-life experiences.

Bruno Mars is a cool guy with lots going for him, and I think he'll be a great man.

See you around,

NUCON

NUCON's a little nook in the wall (not really) which recieves my blog post because it looked like an awesome place. Now NUCON is a place over on Huntley Road inbetween Shrock Road and Worthington Galena Road (exact adress is 7000 Huntley Road, Columbus, OH, 43229-1022).

NUCON manufactures in specialty absorbents; site systems and instruments for testing HVAC abd filtration systems for leaks, system integrity, and airflow balance; engineering, designing, fabrication and testing of systems using absorbtion technology; Tracer Gas and Particle Size based migration and mapping; and the supply of activated carbon.

NUCON seems like an interesting place. Though I've never been there, I'm thinking about going there for Interim next year. Anyhow, onward to my other topics!

With pleasure,
Woody
